Get the Results You Want!

Are you getting the fitness results you're looking for? Do you feel like you're trying everything possible, and still falling short of your fitness goals? If this sounds familiar, it's probably time you reevaluate your workout and diet. You should see or feel a difference in your body if you're working out consistently. Be honest with yourself! If you've been hittin’ the gym, the pavement, the couch (ha) for a month or longer with no results, no change, it's time to reexamine what you’re doing.

Key components to a good workout: consistency, intensity, and variation. To boost your fitness results, try adding an additional workout to your week. If that doesn't work, increase your intensity. Don't cheat yourself; push to failure. Failures create opportunity because our bodies adapt to repeated activities; it's important to vary workouts to build muscle or burn fat.

Remember be honest when evaluating your activity. If you're satisfied that your workouts are up to par, check out your diet. It's difficult to remember everything we eat throughout the week, so I suggest keeping a daily log to track your food consumption. A log should illuminate any trouble spots. If everything looks okay after checking your activity level and diet, something is wrong. You may need to seek an unbiased evaluation from a certified trainer. You may not possess the knowledge it takes to attain the level of fitness you want to achieve.

Help is just a phone call away. If you're not receiving the results you want, I'm sure we can tweak your workouts and diet to help you attain your fitness goals. Keep moving, love to all of you! Robert Silvas
